No. Lumen is a player for a playlist you already have from a provider (an Xtream Codes login: server, username and password). It doesn't host, sell or link to any content. Only use it with content you have the right to watch.

Create an account, then download the app from your account. The download page explains, step by step, how to get it onto your TV: with the free Downloader app, a USB stick, or a file manager.
Only to use an AI assistant with Lumen: it uses your own Claude or ChatGPT account, so check that your plan there lets you add custom connectors. Everything else in Lumen works without one.
Lumen itself never sends anything to an AI. An assistant you connect sees only what you allowed when connecting it, and never your playlist login. The privacy page has the details.
It's kept on your Lumen account and sent only to the TVs you link. AI assistants you connect can browse titles, but never see your login. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time.
